Map View (Mobile Dashboard)
RoadScout's Map view displays your mobile workforce overlaid on Google Maps. See your workforce in real-time. Track, message, and receive alerts instantly and because our apps are feature-rich, you can confidently manage your workforce while on the road.
List View
The Status List is a "quick-view" detail of your mobile workforce, minus the map. View and sort by name, status, speed, direction, signal strength, battery level and alerts.
Hot-Tracking
"Follow" the desired mobile device with this feature. Constant speed, location, and direction are displayed in real-time via the Heads up Display.
HuD (Heads up Display)
The HuD is an elegant, yet sophisticated overlay that is automatically activated within the Hot-Track or Breadcrumb modes. It displays details for both real-time or historical tracking data of an individual.
Breadcrumbing
A historical date and time trail showing any employee's speed, location, battery and signal strength level during a certain time frame.
Call
Conveniently located within the screen of our mobile application is a Calling option. This allows you to call the person directly without having to leave the application.
Messaging
RoadScout's proprietary Messaging system allows your mobile workforce to communicate with each other privately, without incurring SMS or texting charges. All messages are archived on our servers for future reference or retrieval. It's also spam and virus-free.
Alert Notification
Set up a variety of Alerts, ranging from speed infractions, geofence crossings, to low battery levels, and receive an immediate notification once a rule has been breached. It helps you flag repeat violators so you can take appro- priate action while keeping insurance costs under control.
Signal Strength
No carrier can guarantee 100% coverage. Our SmartScoutTM technology automatically switches to cellular location service should GPS signal be lost. Another important feature of SmartScout? is that it continues collecting GPS data, stores it and then transmits it once a stable connection is re-established, thus minimizing data gaps in reporting. Battery Level
RoadScout understands the importance of mobile phone battery life and how it relates to your work. So, we've built-in a real-time display and a custom alert feature that warns you if a mobile device's battery level drops too low. It's too common to be in the field and realize you don't have the right part for the job or you need an extra hand closing a deal. Many times the solution is a few blocks from you. Full screen display of current and 4-day weather forecasts keep you updated based on location. See updated temperature, humidity and wind speed and direction.
